Minutes of Meeting
Thursday 10th of November, 2005
Vendome Hotel , Beirut – Lebanon.
A new meeting of the Arab Alliance "IJMA3" was held on November 10th, 2005 at Le Vendome Hotel - Rawche in Beirut – Lebanon between the following IJMA3 members:
- The Professional Computer Association of Lebanon "PCA" represented by Messers. Jalal Fawaz (President) and Nizar Zakka.
- The Information Technology Association of Jordan "INTAJ" represented by Mr. Mustapha Nasreddine.
- The Syrian Computer Society "SCS" represented by Mr. Firas Bakour
- Information Technologies Professionals Association “Apebi” represented by Mr. Benammou Jamal
- The Bahrain Internet Society “BIS“ represented by Mr. Al Balushi Waheed
- Palestinian Information Technology Association “PITA“ represented by Messers. Mr. Alaa Alaeddine and Mr. Hussein Madi
- The Iraki Computer Society “ICS“ represented by Mr. Akram Othman
- Algeria Information Technology Association “AITA“ represented by Mr. Mohamed Saidi
Absent: Delegates from Chambre Nationale Syndicale des Sociétés de Services et d'Ingénierie Informatique (CNS-SSII) and the Egyptian Association "EITESAL".

The present members, representing 80% of the total IJMA3 members ALL voted for and approved the following:
1. It was agreed that Ijma3 chairman is an honorary position and his term has been reduced to 6 month and rotating alphabetically (Arabic) between members every 6 months.
2. That all correspondences and documentations should be addressed to the CEO ONLY .
3. Approval that SCS provides offices to IJMA3 in Beirut and that PCA subsidize the running cost for few months.
4. Setting yearly membership fees starting 1/1/2006 at 1000 US$ for members.
5. Scheduling the next IJMA3 workshop and assembly at Damascus first half of March 2006 and requesting from the CEO to cooperate with SCS to make it a success.
6. It was agreed to endorse the CEO Mr. Nizar Zakka to the WITSA Vice Chairman position for the MENA Region.
7. It was agreed that IJMA3 fully endorse the WSA the Arab E-content award.
8. Approval of the CEO explanation about the IJMA3 structure and that IJMA3 has no board of director but a steering committee and only the assembly can act as a board of directors.
9. It was requested from the CEO to follow with the Palestinian IT Association on the possibility to transfer the PITA offices in Dubai to an IJMA3 office to be used strictly by IJMA3 members members and managed by IJMA3 secretariat.
10. Recommend from all ijma3 members to put "Member of Ijma3" on their stationary and other.
100% of the attending members voted for the above mentioned decisions and representing 80% of the total IJMA3 members.
