The 8th Arabian Security, Civil Defense and Life Safety Technology Exhibition

Security is a key issue in the Kingdom

Saudi Arabia is the world's fastest growing single market for security equipment and technology, a trend firmly set to continue in line with the vital importance the Government places on maintaining a modern security and law enforcement infrastructure. ASTEX  introduced a comprehensive range of equipment and technology for Saudi Arabian Security, civil defense authorities as well as private sector professionals involved in life safety and all types of corporate and business security.

ASTEX - the Kingdom's showcase for security and life-safety technology

Over the past two decades, over US$ 200 billion worth of security equipment has been purchased by the countries in the region. The Middle East has the world’s highest rate of growth for security and life-safety equipment. The Middle East imports 37% of total world security exports. Saudi Arabia accounts for 12% of global security equipment sales. The regional annual security budget is in excess of US$ 60 billion, making it the largest purchaser of security equipment in the world. ASTEX is aimed at planning and purchasing officials from public and private sector organisations responsible for all aspects of Saudi Arabia’s security including: company security, civil defence, border security, perimeter control, emergency planning, VIP protection, law enforcement, criminal investigation, the security of public buildings, utility installations, fire-fighting and public safety.
