PITA successfully held “MAP IT day in Palestine” workshop at the Grand Park Hotel in Ramallah and via video conference with Gaza  on Monday, January 28, 2008.

 MAP IT program (www.map-it-med.eu), a joint Euro-Mediterranean initiative, is funded by the IST programme (Information Society Technologies) of the European Union, and aimed at promoting and developing research co-operation among the ICT communities of Europe and the South Mediterranean (MED) countries Algeria, Egypt, Jordan, Lebanon, Morocco, Palestinian Authority, Syria and Tunisia.

Two experts from INNOVA S.p.A company –located in Italy -  presented the details of the programs to an audience of Palestinian executives, university professors and private sector institutions.
