int@j Hosts Pavilion at GITEX 2008

For the 8th consecutive year, int@j participates in the Gulf Information Technology Exhibition (GITEX) in Dubai, the United Arab Emirates between 19 and 23 October, 2008. The Middle East's biggest annual ICT trade show, GITEX offers the region's IT organizations a platform through which they can network with participating organizations and IT market leaders, promote themselves on a regional and international level, and showcase their latest innovations, products and services.

GITEX builds upon the global interest in the Middle East’s ICT landscape by presenting a power-packed week of dedicated trade events, and draws visitors from around the world, such as professionals, interested individuals and investors representing various sectors, including Banking & Finance, Education, Government, Defense, Healthcare, Hospitality, Logistics & Storage, Manufacturing, Media and Entertainment, Small & Medium Businesses, Telecommunications, Transportation, Utilities & Energy, Wholesale & Retail and the general public.

As Jordan's ICT Association, int@j, with the support of Jordan Enterprise Development Corporation (JEDCO) will be hosting Jordan's pavilion at the annual event, which will house Jordan's ICT delegation. The delegation's aim is to raise awareness of ICT investment opportunities in Jordan, showcase the country's cutting-edge technological innovations, and promote the Kingdom as an ideal outsourcing and business friendly destination.

The pavilion includes eleven Jordanian IT and software companies, nine of which are int@j affiliated organizations attending under the Association's umbrella. Through their association with int@j, the nine participating member companies (Crystal Call, Digital Letter, ESKADENIA Software, Fourth Dimension Systems, Globitel, Glotech, MenaITech, Real Soft and Sermon Business Solutions) will be able to effectively promote their Products and services by taking part in the available workshops and exhibitions, as well as develop new sales contracts, become more informed about competing organizations, and meet counterparts to explore possible areas of cooperation.

Previous GITEX exhibitions have been particularly successful, and Jordan's participation has helped it draw investor interest as well as bridge business ties with related organizations in sister Arab countries a thing that resulted in hastening the development of Jordan's ICT sector.
