11/04/2014

The association claims that customers have been forced to buy a new modem if they subscriber to a faster service. It also complains that internet users are experiencing much slower service when downloading files, especially via P2P sites where top speeds are 20 kbps. The operator is said to have restricted downloads and other services, to satisfy demand from 3G mobile customers and in preparation for its upcoming 4G launch. Algeria has only 131 Gbps of international bandwidth, three times less than Morocco's 412 Gbps.
