Tunisie Telecom has launched a major marketing campaign to promote its new 3G++ service. The faster data service at up to 42Mbps is available in nine provinces, including the greater Tunis area, Nabeul, Sfax and Sousse, covering 40 percent of the population. The operator expects to cover the entire country by the end of this year, local paper La Press reported from a new conference on the launch. Prepaid customers can access the service at a cost of TND 0.10 per 10KB, or buy a daily pack of 500MB for TND 2 or monthly pack of 1GB for TND 30. A postpaid plan of 6GB at TND 30 per month is also available. The operator also offers plans for access from a computer with a new USB modem.
