The forum, in its sixth version, was organized by the eGovernment Authority in coordination with Bahrain Internet Society, and Project Management Institute - Arabian Gulf Chapter. This year, the forum aimed to explore the cutting-edge development concepts in the field of information and communication technology, enable experts to spread, share experiences and expertise, as well as develop ICT in the Kingdom across various sectors by going in line with the eGovernment program activities. The forum provided an ideal environment to exchange information in the field of ICT as this year’s event addressed the latest developments in technology with focus on a variety of key topics and programs related to: • Innovation and Open Data • Mobile Trends • Cloud Computing and Shared Services • Social Networks • eGovernment. The total number of expected delegates to the forum, with the accompanying IT Expo and workshops, exceeded 700 participants from in and out of the Kingdom. Last year’s forum attracted over 500 delegates from the ICT sector, senior officials of the public sector, business leaders as well as experts from institutions and international companies. This fact indicates that this year’s forum crafted a global platform for a variety of topics, where guests interactively shared experiences with the participating experts, decision-makers and professionals in the areas of eGovernment and ICT.
