Batelco introduces LTE router for home

Batelco, Bahrain's incumbent telecom operator, has introduced an LTE router allowing subscribers to use the service with any WiFi device at home.

Batelco, Bahrain's incumbent telecom operator, has introduced an LTE router allowing subscribers to use the service with any WiFi device at home.

The router is available for Batelco's customers as part of a package featuring unlimited usage, for BD18 per month, including the LTE router device.

Customers will be able to enjoy high speed mobile broadband in their homes via the LTE router and Batelco's LTE network. Customers can connect up to 32 WiFi enabled devices including TV's, receivers, mobile phones, laptops and tablets.

VoIP telephones, faxes, printers and other office equipment, as are any 3G and 2G devices.

Ahmed Al Janahi, general manager of media relations at Batelco Group, said: "Batelco is proud to follow up on its LTE success by delivering LTE mobile broadband packages to benefit its customers and meet their expectations."
