An MoU outlining the vision, mission and objectives of the“Women Alliance for Virtual Exchange” (WAVE) as well as the statutes governing this alliance, was officially signed by different regional organizations from various countries including Lebanon, Jordan, Iraq, Iran, Bahrain, UAE, Egypt and Tunisia.

This unique event took place during a meeting that was organized by The "Arab ICT Organization (IJMA3)" on the 5th -7th of March, 2013 at the Dead Sea, Jordan in parallel with the MENA ICT Forum.
The “Women Alliance for Virtual Exchange” (WAVE) was officially launched upon signing the MoU in celebration of International Women’s Day.
