Al-Iktissad Wal-Aamal ICT Forum

Jordan: Due to unforeseen circumstances, the organizing committee of Al-Iktissad Wal-Aamal ICT Forum that was supposed to be held on the 5th and 6th of June 2008 in Le Royal, Amman - Jordan, has decided to postpone the forum to a later date that will be confirmed later.

Al-Iktissad Wal-Aamal ICT Forum


Under the Patronage of His Excellency Nader Dahabi the Prime Minister of Jordan, Al-Iktissad Wal-Aamal Group and the Ministry of Information and Communication Technology in Jordan, in partnership with International Telecommunication Union (ITU) , and with the support of Union of Arab ICT Association and Arab Regional ISPs & DSPs Association, are organizing the Al-Iktissad Wal-Aamal ICT Forum, to be held at Le Royal Hotel in Amman, Jordan on June 5 -6, 2008.

ITU Secretary General, Dr. Hamadoun Touré, Industry leaders, representatives of government and regulatory agencies, suppliers, and independent experts will convene at the Forum to discuss new ICT trends and challenges, as well as numerous other issues affecting the industry.

Main topics at the conference will cover:
  1. Trends governing the ICT landscape in the region

  3. Convergence and emerging technologies.
  4. Next generation regulation to create market value, insure healthy growth and benefit players.
